- Public Lewdness: A Class A misdemeanor that can result in up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000. Involves performing sexual acts in public.
- Indecent Exposure: A Class B misdemeanor involving exposure of genitals to another in an effort to arouse or satisfy sexual desire.
- Indecency With a Child: One of the more serious sex crimes involving sexual contact or exposure with a child under 17 who is not the offender’s spouse.
- Improper Teacher/Student Relationship: A second-degree felony when an educator engages in sexual contact with a student. Minimum two years jail time.
- Sexual Assault: Knowingly penetrating another individual’s body without consent. When resulting in serious injury or involving a weapon, becomes aggravated sexual assault with harsher penalties.
